Welcome to the Vet Wellbeing Awards

To highlight and celebrate the significance of wellbeing in vet practices, the Awards were created by the Society of Practising Vets (SPVS) in partnership with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Mind Matters Initiative. The Awards have been running annually since 2016, highlighting some of the great examples of practices supporting the wellbeing of their staff. Read our case studies from previous entries for ideas and examples suitable for practices of all shapes and sizes.

Covid-19 update: due to the uncertainties and additional challenges faced by practices, the wellbeing awards are being suspended for 2020, and in place the focus is on celebrating and thanking individuals championing wellbeing in their workplace. The Practice Star Certificates recognise the contribution made by people to improve the wellbeing of others. The certificates were launched at WellVet Virtual 2020 and will run until the 20th November 2020.

Practice Stars will be invited to contribute optional podcasts and blogs, and will be entered into a prize draw for one pair of tickets to SPVS/VMG Congress 2021.

Terms and conditions can be found here.
